rednotebook software package provides daily journal with calendar, templates and keyword searching, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install rednotebook
rednotebook is installed in your system.
Make ensure the rednotebook package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep rednotebook *
You will get with rednotebook package name, version, architecture and description in a table
